Academic
Course recommendations
All students take part in a project in groups of about 3 persons. The project subject can be picked by the students on their own- using all the school resources. This is a grea opportunity to pick any subject that one is interested in.
Also the 3D CAD course is one of the most interestig that I've attended in my life. It gave me a huge amount of knowledge about Autodesk Inventor.

Personal comments
While interacting with the diverse Erasmus society, I would also like to interact with the local students- which currently is almost impossible.

Final comments
The best airport to travel from Horsens is Billund. It is really close and you can find a lot of cheap flights from there.
If you chose your dormitory- Kamtjatka is about 4km from the school, but it is in the city center. Student village is right next to the school, the stanard is higher, but it's away from the center and it's more expensive.

Personal comments
At the time I was not interested and did not learn the danish language, therefore I will only cinsider english language here. I had absolutely no problems in any situation while interacting with the Danish people. Everyone speaks English fluently in there, including everyday people in the streets, the academic staff and administration personel. The only problem that I used to have in some cases, ws communicating with other Erasmus students, whose english was often on a bad level

Personal spending habits
Food and housing is generally much more expensive in Denmark than in Poland. The telephone costs, on the other hand, are lower and allowed me to save some money. As for the nightlife- I used to party most often in the campus area, with other Erasmus students. And in this case, it was possible to lower the spendings. Travel costs were generally low, but I used to travel a lot (even 2-3 abroad trips a month) and that s why I spent more money on travels, than usually

Personal comments
The host university used to give out additional grants (about 250 euros) to the students of eastern europe, but they have stopped to do that from September 2010. There are a lot of different shops in the city, and it's good to go shopping to all of them one by one, to buy the cheapest products

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
The conditions were excellent, but what was really important- I had the opportunity to live in an astonishingly diverse and outgoing society.

Personal comments
The conditions that I used to live in were shocking for me- in the positive manner. The campus was really big and modern, while the rooms stood up to the highest standards. I had my own room, with kitchen and bathroom shared with another Erasmus student. Also the location of the campus was satisfying, because it was in the city center, while being just 10 minutes from school by bike. The price on the other hand was really high, as for east-european conditions, but the host university supported us in paying the rent.

Great amount of perties takes place in the student dormitories. But the interesting places to go out are the First Mansion and Crazy Daisy clubs, as well as the Student Bar.
