“Studying MBA in Germany (Pros and Cons)”

The quality of education is excellent at WHU (because of its excellent professors and pedagogy). The program is very international, takes you to visit three different countries to give exposure to education and business.

The language is the big pain in Germany for MBA graduates as it restricts you to apply for few jobs. It is difficult to change function and industry, and the career center is not very helpful. The companies give more importance to the previous job experience and unwilling to give chances to high-quality MBAs, unlike the USA.

Overall, WHU graduates have found the jobs and internships before or after course completion.

Points forts

Excellent education and international exposure. Leadership development and networking.

Inconvénients

Career center not resourceful.

this university has a very good reputation, very good courses as well but it is important to know that it is not possible to make many improvements in German.

As Exchange students, we have plenty of free time. Use this time to travel and discover Germany and the culture. Going to the Oktober Fest in Munchen is key, as well as going to Berlin.

WHU is one of the best management universities in Germany it is definitely worth studying there

WHU has excellent location and very nice surroundings. It offers excellent courses and classes, the international focus is very strong.

It was a great time! you can travel to allmost everywhere in europe due to a very good infrastructure (close airport and main trainstation: frankfurt or cologne). if you don't have a car you better try to get an accomodation near to the campus!
