“Nice University with some minor issues”

Évaluation globaleStudying at the Vienna University of Economics was one of the greatest experiences in my career. I was able to constantly meet new people and get a broad knowledge about various subjects. Thus the undergraduate program helped me to receive an insight into different areas without learning in great detail.
This leads to the point that I wasn't able to specialize on a certain skill. After visiting a certain amount of subjects you get an understanding about how they are connected with each other, but on the other hand you are not able to be of firm conviction that you have learned the skills, which are required for job advertisements in the field of subject. The reason for this issue is probably that the University is putting too much emphasis on providing theoretical instead of practical knowledge.
However, I think the University of Economics in Vienna is a great university if you want to make new contacts and get a broad understanding about how things are connected.
