Junior Supplier Sourcing Specialist Graduate / Purchasing

Our mission is to be the World Leader for Vision Systems within the automotive industry by developing innovative cameras & ECU systems using cutting edge technology delivered with market leading Quality, Delivery and Commercial terms.
We are looking for a proactive Junior Supplier Sourcing Specialist Graduate to support the Site Purchasing team in driving supplier performance and strategic sourcing.
The Graduate will play an active role in supplier selection, capacity assessments, quality and delivery issues resolution, contributing to both day-to-day operations and long-term sourcing and procurement strategy.
The Graduate will learn and deploy Valeo's industry leading tools for sourcing (SoCo), component qualification and life cycle management (SRM) in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities
* Support supplier onboarding and qualification, especially for camera housing suppliers
* Assist in selecting new suppliers through market research, evaluation, and performance benchmarking
* Together with Engineering, complete roadmap\design reviews with the suppliers to specify the appropriate component\service
* Conduct capacity checks at key suppliers to ensure readiness for volume production
* Follow up on supplier documentation, ensuring all records are complete and updated in the system
* Support in the day to day activities and support resolution of quality or delivery issues by coordinating with PQA (Product Quality Assurance) and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) teams
* Manage supplier pricing updates, from validation to entry into the systems (Puma and SAP)
* Assist in tooling roadmap updates and management for the V5000 site
* Coordinate with stakeholders in the SRM part qualification process to ensure timely delivery
* Monitor supplier performance and support regular reviews
* Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing and supplier development processes

Professional experience
* Recently graduated from a Business / Supply Chain / Purchasing or Engineering degree
* Prior exposure, whether during student placement or studies, to suppliers and negotiation
* Working knowledge of Excel

* Knowledge of one ERP system (like SAP) desired
