The 'VIE role' plays a vital role in growing and maintaining sales in the Canadian territory. Priorities are to expand the company's sales, presence and brand awareness within Canada. The employee responsibilities include but not limited to: Distributor Mapping & Analysis: 1. Analyze the territory, its participants, trends, and actively contribute to the market intelligence/benchmarking process. 2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive, detailed database of current and potential food service distributors across Canada, mapping their coverage areas, capabilities, and customer segments (e.g., restaurants, hotels, bakeries, institutional). Strategic Evaluation: 1. Assess potential partners based on market reach, reputation, financial stability, and fit with product portfolio to optimize distribution channels. 2.Monitor performance metrics, such as sales volume and market penetration, to evaluate the effectiveness of the distribution network. Training: 1. Train, coordinate and motivate distributor sales teams to grow existing accounts and open new accounts to achieve sales goals. 2. Build and maintain end-user customer relationships. Develop new relationships through research, prospecting and industry networking. 3. Work with the sales and marketing team to develop, organize and execute promotional and technical events in the territory for all customer categories. 4. Utilize CRM platform with distributor and end user visits and events in territory. 5. Promote a positive brand image at all times. Travel requirements: * Domestic and international travel requirements 40% domestic (Only occasionally outside Canada) * Must be able to travel to various off-site locations. * Must be available to work occasional weekends and evenings when participating in company trade or vendor shows; or customer-related events. (According with applicable law)

Ihr Profil:

Qualifications and Skills: * 1 to 2 years sales experience in food or beverage sales. * Proven track record in prospecting customers and converting sales. * Strong analytical and presentation skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills * Proactive, action oriented, and results-oriented * Critical Thinking: anticipate challenges and navigate complexity * Creativity and problem-solving abilities, able to work under tight deadlines * Proficient knowledge of MS office tools, Salesforce or similar CRM platform experience preferred
