Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Pricing Analyst to join our team. This role requires a balance of deal review expertise, cross-functional coordination, and strong commercial judgment. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with sales, commercial, and country pricing teams to review special pricing requests, ensure compliance with deal guidelines, and support effective pricing governance across Europe.
The ideal candidate combines attention to detail, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate deal data into clear approval decisions and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Review & Approval
* Review and assess Special Pricing Agreement (SPA) requests submitted by European country sales teams, ensuring alignment with margin guidelines and business strategy.
* Evaluate deal profitability, competitive context, and customer segmentation to provide timely and consistent approval decisions.
* Challenge deal assumptions where needed and escalate complex or high-value requests to senior pricing management with a well-reasoned recommendation.
Process Governance & Compliance
* Ensure all SPA deals comply with established pricing policies, discount authority levels, and approval workflows across European markets.
* Monitor deal turnaround times and flag bottlenecks to ensure the SPA process runs efficiently and within agreed service levels.
* Identify and report on recurring non-compliant deals or policy exceptions, supporting continuous improvement of the SPA framework.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for European country teams on SPA-related queries, providing guidance on deal structuring and pricing guidelines.
* Liaise with commercial, finance, and supply chain teams to validate deal feasibility and support end-to-end approval processes.
* Share best practices and lessons learned across the European pricing community to improve deal quality and approval rates.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
* Track SPA deal performance post-approval, measuring win rates, margin outcomes, and deal volumes across European markets.
* Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility on SPA pipeline status, approval rates, and regional trends to support management decisions.
* Analyze deal data to identify patterns and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to improve SPA pricing strategy and competitiveness.
Education : Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or relatied field
Experience : 1-2 years of experience in pricing, sales operations, deal management (internships and apprenticeships are fully valued)
Mindset and skills :
* Fluent in English (oral and written)
* Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of Tableau, CPQ, CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce), and SQL is a plus
* Strong analytical skills with expertise in deal profitability analysis, pricing governance, and performance reporting.

* Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
