Summary of what you will do
* Manage accounting for EUK Ltd and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with ENGIE policies and IFRS
* Maintain accurate SAP ledgers up to trial balance, including foreign currency, tax, and deferred tax entries.
* Complete monthly reporting and analysis of intra group movements.
* Prepare high quality management accounts to support statutory reporting and audits.
* Work closely with Group Treasury on bank reconciliations, postings, and cash flow forecasting.
* Support tax return submissions and ensure accurate tracking of realised vs. unrealised profits.
* Assess impairment considerations and support group restructuring activities.
* Maintain strong internal controls and support continuous process and SAP system improvements.
* Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects within the finance function.

What you will bring to the role
* Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA.
* Experience in managing key business and client relationships;
* Good technical knowledge and accounting skills, in IFRSs and UK law;
* Ability to develop and apply internal control frameworks;
* Excellent planning and administration skills;
* Well-developed influencing and communication skills;
* Project/programme management skills; and
* Experience in challenging the status quo and fostering an innovative mindset within teams.

Systems Experience Requirements
* SAP ERP;
* Banking and BACS payments systems; and
* MS Excel.

Job Based In
Hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of on-site presence at our Newcastle office and remote work flexibility
