Mission:
We are seeking an experienced Global Strategic Events Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact global events that accelerate business growth across priority segments and channels. This role goes beyond standalone event delivery; it is responsible for ensuring events are fully integrated into wider go-to-market programs, campaigns, and customer journeys - before, during, and after each engagement.
We are looking for someone who combines strong event leadership with strategic marketing expertise, connecting events to demand generation, brand, partner, and lifecycle marketing while delivering exceptional experiences at scale.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Event Leadership
*
* Own the global strategic events roadmap, aligned to business priorities, market segments, and channel strategies - working collaboratively with other team members within and outside the IA organisation.
* Translate segment and channel objectives into event strategies that support awareness, pipeline, retention, and advocacy goals.
* Define clear event value propositions for target audiences - support on commercial objectives and align with local country leaders to ensure the event is delivering the impact needed.
Program & Campaign Integration
*
* Ensure all events are fully integrated into broader marketing programs.
* Partner closely with Program Managers, Segment and Channel Marketing, Brand, and Sales to align messaging, timing, and follow-up plans.
* Design event experiences that connect seamlessly into pre-event promotion, in-event engagement, and post-event nurture and activation - work with supporting functions to achieve this, and be the project manager for your events.
Event Planning & Execution
*
* Lead the end-to-end execution of global strategic events.
* Manage agencies, vendors, budgets, timelines, and risk to ensure high-quality, scalable delivery.
* Ensure consistency of Schneider Electric brand, messaging, and experience across regions and channels.
Measurement & Impact
*
* Define success metrics aligned to program goals, not just event-level KPIs-ensure alignment with country based lead process to ensure successful implementation of post event strategy.
* Track and report on performance across funnel metrics (engagement, pipeline influence, revenue impact, customer outcomes).
* Use insights to continuously optimize event strategy and integration within broader programs.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
*
* Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Regional teams.
* Influence to drive alignment and integration across global team matrix.
* Support regional teams with frameworks, playbooks, and guidance to scale strategic events locally.
Skills and attributes:
*
* Relevant experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or integrated marketing roles.
* Proven experience managing global and/or region strategic events with clear return on investment.
* Demonstrated ability to integrate events into broader segment- and channel-led marketing programs.
* Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working cross-functionally with demand, field, partner, and sales teams.
* Analytical mindset with experience measuring event impact on business outcomes.
* Experience in B2B, enterprise, or technology-led organizations is beneficial.
* Familiarity with account-based, lifecycle, or integrated go-to-market models is advantageous.
* Experience managing agencies and vendor ecosystems is a plus.
