Duties and responsibilities related to the Team Leader role
·Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operational running of the assigned area, including managing both full-time and casual team members.
·Set, review, and monitor clear, achievable objectives for team members in line with the department's annual plan and long-term goals.
·Communicate departmental strategy effectively to all team members in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager.
·Maintain clear and consistent communication within the team to support smooth operations.
·Implement action plans to consistently deliver the highest standards of customer service in line with company objectives.
·Train, coach, and empower team members to confidently resolve guest concerns with minimal disruption.
·Support labour cost control by creating weekly rotas in line with business needs and assisting with payroll processes.
About you
We are looking for a confident and experienced hospitality professional with a proven track record in a supervisory or management role, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. Experience in team management, rota planning, and cost control is essential, along with the ability to motivate and develop team members while maintaining high operational standards.
