About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Freight Invoice Analyst to support end-to-end transportation invoice processing and exception management. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate carrier payments, resolving system and integration issues, and maintaining strong service levels with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

* Manage LTL and TL freight invoice exceptions, analysing discrepancies, validating supporting documentation, and driving invoices to Ready to Pay status.
* Monitor carrier invoice submissions within the Transportation Management System (TMS), identify posting blockers, and coordinate corrective actions.
* Investigate and resolve SAP ↔ TMS (IDOC) integration failures, addressing system issues or confirming routing to manual payment when required.
* Create, validate, and manage TOURs for shuttle carriers, reconciling TMS load data against carrier files and resolving exceptions (e.g., voided or inactive loads, tendering errors, Websettle holds).
* Perform recurring carrier statement reconciliations across a large carrier base, validating invoice accuracy and payment alignment, documenting discrepancies, and following up to resolution.
* Respond to carrier and vendor inquiries, providing payment status updates and resolving freight payable questions in line with SLAs.

Qualifications and skills

* Experience in freight invoicing, transportation payables, or logistics finance.
* Solid understanding of TL / LTL transportation processes.
* Hands-on experience with TMS and SAP (or similar ERP systems); IDOC knowledge is a strong plus.
* Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet defined SLAs.
* Effective communication skills for interaction with carriers and internal stakeholders
