About the role: What's in the Box
Our warehouses are the beating heart of HelloFresh, and 'De Kas' in Bleiswijk is our flagship fulfilment site in the Netherlands. As a Warehouse Manager, you own the pre-production operation end-to-end: inbound, internal flow, reverse logistics, and everything in between.
You'll lead a team of roughly 100 FTE across three departments, setting the pace and the standard for how we move product safely, efficiently, and at scale. This is a high-visibility role with real decision-making authority. You'll have a direct line to the Site Lead and a seat at the table when it matters most.
What you'll do: The Recipe
* Lead the daily warehouse operation across inbound, internal logistics, and reverse logistics: keeping throughput smooth, stock accurate, and the yard running like clockwork
* Drive performance through KPIs, with minutes-per-box as your north star, and translate operational data into fast, grounded decisions that your team can act on
* Coach, challenge and develop a team of team leads and ~100 warehouse staff, building a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement
* Own safety compliance across the site: you make sure no corners are cut, no procedures bypassed, and that every team member goes home safe
* Govern WMS processes and champion clean, reliable data as the foundation of every operational decision
* Deliver sharp weekly reporting to Site Leadership on efficiency, volume and headcount deployment - and partner with international operations teams to align on best practices
* Step up on strategic projects: site transitions, WMS rollouts, operational redesigns - you're in the room when it matters and ready to lead when called upon
What you'll bring: The Ingredients
* Proven experience managing warehouse or logistics operations at scale - you've been accountable for real volume and know what it takes to keep a high-throughput site running ⭐
* Strong people leadership: you build teams, not just headcounts, and you're comfortable setting high standards and having honest conversations ⭐
* Hands-on familiarity with a Warehouse Management System - you know how to get the most out of it and where its blind spots are
* An analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns quickly and move from insight to action without losing momentum
* Fluency in both Dutch and English, with the communication skills to lead diverse teams and collaborate across international stakeholders
* A background in e-commerce, food or FMCG is a genuine advantage - fast-moving environments are where you do your best work
