About our team:

The Marketing Insights & Research Team partners with marketing teams (and beyond) to influence customer centric business decisions through tailored research, insights & recommendations. The team is responsible for supporting our stakeholders in many projects bringing the consumer voice to the decisions as well conducting various types of research to address business needs including Brand, Campaign and Sponsorship Insights, Tracking and Measurement, Communications Research, Strategic Research, among others.

Role Overview:

The Marketing Insights & Quantitative Research Specialist (Researcher II) will lead and support a range of ongoing and ad-hoc quantitative research projects across the Marketing Department, partnering closely with Brand, Strategy, Growth and Marketing Science teams. They will independently manage end-to-end research activities - from clarifying business questions and hypotheses, choosing the right methodologies, and performing studies to synthesizing results and clearly communicating implications to stakeholders. This role requires critical thinking beyond inbound requests, complicated assumptions, connecting attitudinal and behavioral data, and translating sophisticated data into clear, actionable points of view that inform strategic decisions on audiences, markets, brand insights and other high-impact topics. In addition, the Specialist will collaborate with other researchers to advance brand and strategic work, help scale and improve internal research programs (including the responsible use of AI), and elevate overall research quality and efficiency across the team.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
* Lead end-to-end quantitative research projects: translate business questions into research objectives, select methodologies, design questionnaires, manage fieldwork, and deliver analysis and reports.
* Perform data analysis and synthesis by integrating survey data, behavioral data, internal metrics, and external/secondary research to provide clear, actionable insights.
* Partner with Marketing Science / data science / analytics to connect attitudinal and behavioral data, applying statistically thorough methods to drive measurable business outcomes.
* Deliver regular standardized reporting and dashboards, ensuring that marketing and business stakeholders can use insights to inform decisions on brand, audiences, markets, and growth.
* Manage and collaborate with external research agencies, ensuring methodological rigor, data quality, and on-time, on-brief project delivery.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (research, analytics, marketing, product, strategy) to align on priorities, share findings, and scale internal research programs.
* Provide stakeholder management by aligning research roadmaps with business needs, setting expectations, and delivering high-quality, actionable recommendations.
* Present and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences, translating sophisticated analyses into clear stories and practical recommendations.
* Profile/Requirements: Experienced quantitative market researcher with background in research agencies and/or e-commerce/tech (Marketing Research & Analytics), strong consumer insights and behavioral analysis skills, and a track record of using data to influence marketing decisions.

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

* Proven experience in quantitative market research and data analytics within a marketing or consumer-focused environment.
* Advanced quantitative research skills, including survey design, sampling, implementation, fieldwork management, data collection, and analysis (including longitudinal/trackers).
* Proficiency with research and analytics tools such as JMP, SPSS, Pollfish, and Qualtrics; experience with Python and SQL is a strong plus.
* Hands-on experience applying statistical methods to attitudinal and behavioral data, including analysis of open-ended text responses.
* Strong data-driven approach: curious, evidence-first, comfortable with data synthesis, automation, and turning data into clear, actionable stories for stakeholders.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills; proven track record to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
* Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills; able to handle ambiguous briefs and manage challenging stakeholder discussions.
* Collaborative teammate with an entrepreneurial, solution-focused approach and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners.
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Marketing, Consumer Psychology, Communications, Data Science, or a related field.
* Based in the Netherlands with the ability to work from the office 2-3 days per week.
