What does the job involve?
Responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment used in the energy production process. This includes carrying out routine inspections and maintenance on pumps, compressors, turbines, and other mechanically operated equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance, adhere to safety regulations and work with the maintenance team when coordination maintenance schedules or repairs.

You are utilizing your knowledge in a specific area to carry out tasks that have a short-term operational impact/risk. You independently complete assigned work, either with guidance or by following well-defined guidelines and procedures, in order to achieve targets set by others that have an impact on your immediate team. You effectively communicate facts, practices, and policies to individuals within your immediate team and occasionally with external parties. You adhere to established procedures, identify and resolve challenges, seek continuous improvement, embrace change and ambiguity, and demonstrate flexibility to adopt new activities and ways of working.​ You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values. What will my tasks be?

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
* Ansvar for alle vedlikeholdsoppgaver innen det mekaniske fagområdet, og sikre at operasjonelle krav oppfylles i henhold til gjeldende dokumentasjon og selskapsprosedyrer.
* Bidra til teknisk opplæring av lærlinger og andre ansatte i det mekaniske teamet.
* Sikre godt samarbeid med leverandører og andre fagdisipliner for sømløs koordinering og effektiv samhandling.
* Utføre rutinemessig vedlikehold på mekanisk utstyr og systemer for å sikre sikker og effektiv drift. Dette inkluderer oppgaver som rengjøring, smøring, justering av komponenter og utskifting av slitte deler.
* Overvåke systemparametere, alarmer og datatrender for å sikre stabil drift og avdekke avvik.
* Sørge for at vedlikeholdsoppgaver gjennomføres effektivt og til riktig tid.
* Rapportere historikk for vedlikeholdsaktiviteter og sikre korrekt dokumentasjon og ferdigstillelse av arbeid.
* Delta aktivt i å identifisere forbedringsområder innen mekaniske vedlikeholdsprosesser og prosedyrer.
* Feilsøke problemer som kan oppstå, som utstyrsfeil eller funksjonssvikt.
* Bruke diagnostiske verktøy og metoder for å identifisere rotårsak og foreslå hensiktsmessige løsninger.
* Utføre modifikasjoner på mekanisk utstyr og systemer. Dette inkluderer oppgraderinger, forbedringer, reparasjoner og implementering av ny teknologi.
* Overholde sikkerhetsprosedyrer og retningslinjer i alt mekanisk arbeidFølge HMS-krav, benytte personlig verneutstyr (PVU), og rapportere avvik eller hendelser til riktig instans.

* Norsk fagbrev innen mekaniske fag, med minimum 3 års relevant erfaring er å foretrekke.
* God kjennskap til regler, reguleringer, standarder og tekniske krav i det aktuelle faget.
* Generelle IT-kunnskaper og åpen for nye digitale løsninger.
* Høy grad av ansvarsbevissthet og evne til å ta selvstendige beslutninger. 
* Vilje til læring og utvikling, samt å ta initiativ til forbedring.
* God kunnskap til skandinavisk språk, muntlig og skriftlig.
* Strukturert, fleksibel , samt gode sosiale ferdigheter og samarbeidsevner.   
* Løsnings- og resultatorientert med god helhetsforståelse.  

Denne stillingen er en dagtid-stilling på Hammerfest LNG med ordinær arbeidstid 07:30-15:30.
