Role Profile:

Responsibility for day-to-day management and strategy of LSEG Datastream cross-asset, time-series analytical capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Day to day management of these capabilities - including responding to complex customer queries on how to use the Datastream expression language, feeding back enhancements to the development team, and confirming these once implemented.
* The future strategy for Datastream time-series analytics capabilities - working with the core LSEG teams to ensure this is fully aligned with LSEG goals.
* Working closely with client teams to promote these capabilities including attending client meetings and presentations to gather further client feedback, in order to drive innovation, to increase client adoption and retention.
* Contributing to the product marketing of LSEG Datastream time-series analytics to ensure benefits are effectively communicated internally and externally
* Managing your work proactively and working with other teams as directed by senior colleagues, to meet overall objectives, as well as providing coaching and development for junior colleagues.
* Innovate by providing new content sets, derived with Datastream analytics, for which there is a gap in the market. Examples could include a proprietary set of leading economic indicators.

What You'll Bring:
* Post graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a quantitative field like Mathematics or Statistics, with particular strength in Econometrics (ideally also a CFA qualification).
* Detailed understanding of macroeconomics time series and financial market instruments (equities and derivatives, fixed income, FX, money markets, commodities) and the analytics applied to these.
* Significant programming experience in Python and R (as well as third-party tools such as MATLAB and EViews) for processing large datasets.
* Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling) and use of Copilot.
* Soft Skills: Analytical thinking (identify patterns and draw logical conclusions from complex data), communication (explain financial analytics to non-specialists) and attention to detail (precision in handling numerical data).

Compensation Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł180,000 - zł284,600. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan ("bonus plan"). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
