At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we manufacture powertrain systems that support fuel consumption reduction and lower emissions-including starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Design & Planning: Create process flows, assembly drawings, Control Plans, and P-FMEA. Manage Process Engineering planning and budgets.
* R&D Collaboration: Challenge R&D on product manufacturability (DFM, DFA, DTF) and evaluate manufacturing costs.
* Validation & Equipment: Define prototype equipment specs, support sourcing/purchasing, follow up on prototype assembly, and perform final process validation.
* Standardization: Create and update process standards and documentation, ensuring seamless transition and recommendations for P1 projects.
* Project & Team Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional contributors (Purchasing, Tech Departments) and support "make or buy" decisions.
* Safety: Ensure all developed processes strictly respect safety and environmental rules.
Requirements:
* Education: Higher technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Production Engineering, or similar).
* Experience: Background in process engineering (automotive, ideally e-motor assembly).
* Technical Tools: Practical knowledge of process flows, Control Plans, PFMEA, and manufacturing costs.
* Languages: English at B2+/C1 level (essential for daily international cooperation).
* Communication: Strong skills in managing relations with global customers and suppliers.
* Mobility: Readiness for minimum 30-40% travel (Europe and Asia)
