Position: The main purpose of the role is to develop our EU sourcing strategies for Flexible packaging, and integrating within the broader Global packaging Strategy.
Responsibilities

Preferred role specific skills
Packaging Procurement expert, with key skills across multiple flexible packaging categories:
* Procurement experience in multi national / multi locational organization preferably in packaging or commodities
* Strong supplier negotiation skills, with specific abilities to identify risks and opportunities presented by potential contracts, and to ensure favourable and flexible conditions for PepsiCo
* Strong technical knowledge of snacks packaging, especially BOPP and related laminates
* Ability to work with R&D to identify alternatives, evaluate their cost and performance and align recommendations with the business
* Ability to implement projects on time, meeting brand launch and other business deadlines
Qualifications

* Is expected to have a good understanding of the technical attributes required for our specifications - working with R&D & Ops at a plant level.
* Must be able to identify and implement only necessary changes to reach our goals with minimal disruption to our operations and supply chain, without adding complexity and at minimal on-cost
* Must be able to handle complexity to provide rational insights, thought leadership, concise communications, and well-thought recommendations.
* Must be a proactive, decision maker that focuses on driving results through a proactive approach
