Technical Architect

We are currently seeking a Technical Architect to lead the design and development of cloud-based solutions that support Sage's business plans and long-term objectives.

As a Technical Architect at Sage, you'll work on proof-of-concepts, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and play a key role in shaping our next generation of HCM solutions.

You'll guide developers on architectural decisions, participate in specification reviews, and ensure alignment with best practices and overall system design.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Barcelona office.
* Provide guidance on architectural decisions, participate in specification reviews, and ensure alignment with solution designers and business stakeholders.
* Drive the ongoing development and enhancement of solutions, including integrating potential AI capabilities, to ensure continuous product evolution.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes across assigned codebases, product areas, and systems.

Requirements:
* Solid background in technical architecture, with a track record of delivering large-scale cloud enterprise applications.
* Skilled in designing and implementing solutions within cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
* Proven ability to lead the continuous evolution and enhancement of solutions, incorporating AI capabilities to address changing business needs.
* Hands-on expertise with Scala and JavaScript frameworks.
