Role Purpose
You will lead one of dsm-firmenich's most strategic data transformations. As Data Foundation Program Manager, you will deliver, embed, and institutionalize the enterprise data foundation powering ERP, AI, and digital growth. A high-impact, visible role working with senior leaders across business and tech.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Data Foundation Program, ensuring successful execution, stabilization, and handover into a scalable, well-owned operating model that can be sustained beyond the program.
* Own the integrated roadmap across data platform, master data, and data governance, balancing delivery speed with long-term operability, supportability, and maintainability.
* Manage the program budget, forecasts, and financial performance, providing clear and transparent reporting to senior stakeholders and governance bodies.
* Drive effective governance and decision-making, establishing clear ownership, decision rights, and escalation paths that remain effective once the program transitions into run.
* Ensure adoption and change across business units by embedding new ways of working, roles, and data governance practices into day-to-day operations so they stick over time.
* Build internal capability and reduce reliance on external partners by systematically transferring knowledge, codifying standards and playbooks, and securing long-term ownership within the organization.
We bring:
Unique career paths across health, nutrition and beauty - explore what drives you and get the support to make it happen
A chance to impact millions of consumers every day - sustainability embedded in all we do
A science led company, cutting edge research and creativity everywhere - from biotech breakthroughs to sustainability game-changers, you'll work on what's next
Growth that keeps up with you - you join an industry leader that will develop your expertise and leadership
A culture that lifts you up - with collaborative teams, shared wins, and people who cheer each other on.
A community where your voice matters - it is essential to serve our customers well.
You bring:
* Extensive program leadership experience: 10+ years in program or portfolio management within complex, enterprise environments, with proven delivery of multi-year transformation programs (data, ERP, digital, or platforms) from build through stabilization and handover into run.
* Strong financial and governance capability: Demonstrated experience with investment control, budget management, forecasting, and executive-level reporting.
* Enterprise data and technology understanding: Solid conceptual understanding of data platforms, data governance, master data, and enterprise IT landscapes, enabling effective decision-making and dialogue.
* Excellent structuring and prioritization skills: Ability to manage complexity, define clear priorities, and balance delivery pressure with long-term operability and sustainability of solutions.
* Executive communication and stakeholder management: Confidence engaging senior leaders, navigating challenge, and aligning business and technology stakeholders across functions and geographies.
* Ownership mindset and pragmatism: You act as an owner, not a coordinator - fact-based, calm under scrutiny, comfortable saying no to scope creep, focused on outcomes that last, and commited to building internal capability and knowledge.
