About the Role

As a Bartender at Sofia Bar, you will act as an ambassador of the Hyatt brand, ensuring professional, engaging, and high-quality service aligned with the highest brand standards.
This is a full-time operational position (40 hours per week) offered on a temporary contract, with a rotating schedule that includes afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts according to the operational needs of the bar. You will work closely with the Service team, Supervisors, and Management to ensure smooth operations and a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Bartender is responsible for the effective operation of the bar and the delivery of excellent beverage service, including but not limited to:
* Welcoming guests and providing professional and friendly service at the bar
* Preparing and serving classic and signature cocktails, beverages, and coffees in line with quality, presentation, and recipe standards
* Offering personalized recommendations, demonstrating strong knowledge of the menu and current promotions
* Accurately processing beverage orders through the P.O.S. system
* Maintaining the bar, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
* Carrying out mise en place, replenishment duties, and basic stock control
* Ensuring compliance with hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and hotel policies
* Supporting opening, closing, and side work duties of the bar
* Working collaboratively with waitstaff and supervisors to ensure smooth service
* Adapting to changes in service pace or volume with a positive and solution-oriented attitude

Ihr Profil:

Requirements & Profile

* Previous experience as a Bartender, preferably in hotel bars or high-volume environments
* Passion for mixology and guest service, with a strong focus on excellence
* Good communication skills and professional interaction with both guests and colleagues
* Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional languages are a plus
* Ability to work well in a team and perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* Professional appearance and adherence to Hyatt grooming and presentation standards
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
* Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented attitude
