Position Summary

This is an entry-level role within our Corporate Operations team, specializing in Know Your Client (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes. The role offers exposure to operational excellence, internal project management, and data-driven solutions using advanced tools.
The KYC Operations function focuses on onboarding, customer risk assessments, MI reporting, SLA and critical metric execution, quality control, and operational training design and delivery.
Our team operates on the Early UK Shift - 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM (Sri Lankan Time) to support global business operations. Refer Hybrid Working | LSEG for more information on our ways of working.

Role Responsibilities

· Support internal KYC Ops projects by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
· Assist in designing and automating workflows using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
· Develop dashboards and reports to monitor project and operational metrics.
· Perform data analysis and transformation using advanced Excel techniques (Power Query, complex formulas, pivot tables).
· Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, action logs, and status reports.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
· Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities.
· Gain knowledge of company policies and procedures on KYC and due diligence.

Preferred Skills & Experience

· Strong interest in project management and process optimization.
· Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, formulas, and data modeling.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.

· Practical experience in project management within a global financial operations environment.
· Hands-on exposure to automation and data visualization tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
· Advanced Excel skills applied to real-world business problems.
