The Position

Project Manager

Please note this is a fixed-term opportunity until the end of 2027.

As Project Manager you will be part of the RSS Project Management organization and report to the Chapter Lead for Project Management. Are you a project management enthusiast and want to provide best in class project management services to partners across Roche? Then you are the candidate we are looking for.

The Opportunity

* Project Delivery & Lifecycle Management: Responsible for successful project delivery using agile or traditional methodologies; ensures critical success factors (reliability, compliance, efficiency, sustainability, and time to value) are managed across the entire project lifecycle to meet business goals and deliver defined organizational value.
* Team Leadership & Resource Allocation: Leads or participates in global project teams, ensuring clear definitions of roles, responsibilities, and resource assignments align perfectly with project plan deliverables.
* Stakeholder Management & Communication: Effectively manages stakeholders by building key relationships, understanding their unique organizations, applying organizational change management practices, and ensuring transparent, effective communication.
* Project Controls, Tracking, & Risk Mitigation: Generates, maintains, and tracks accurate, realistic project plans alongside risk and issue logs to ensure timely, transparent status reporting.
* Financial Management & Governance: Tracks project financials, prepares and presents updates to relevant governance meetings in line with project methodology/best practices, and actively seeks governance approval when required.
* Business Development: Contributes to business development opportunities where appropriate, extending impact beyond standard delivery.
* Capability Building & Chapter Engagement: Actively participates in the Project Management Chapter by continuously improving PM capabilities, service offerings, and community engagement based on market dynamics; supports the development of training content/toolkits; and prioritizes personal upskilling while sharing learnings with chapter colleagues.

Who You Are

* Appropriate university degree and 5+ years of project management related work experience
* Strong knowledge in project management fundamentals (waterfall, SCRUM and others) and related tools
* Experience in leading global/complex projects, organizing and optimizing resources and establishing clear priorities
* Ability to motivate and lead a project team or team members if required
* Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in influencing, negotiating, and effective global collaboration.
* Ability to effectively communicate across various levels of a complex, matrix organization. Ideally exposure to an additional field related to project management, such as project change management, business consulting, methodology coaching.
* Experience in project management financials and resource management
