THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for Actuarial Business Solutions, Analyst who is responsible for
- Monitor, analyze, and drive persistency management initiatives across all distribution channels to support the company in achieving its persistency targets and related financial KPIs. This includes coordinating efforts across cross-functional departments, including Finance and Actuarial teams.
- Leverage advanced tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, SQL, AI) to automate and enhance existing actuarial processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform Prophet model enhancements and contribute to the development and modeling of new products.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Persistency Management (50%):
* Conduct annual persistency experience studies (including lapse, premium holiday, and partial withdrawal), propose assumption updates to the Chief Actuary, and assist with documentation and presentations to the Group.
* Monitor persistency metrics (first-year and renewal-year lapses, premium holidays, partial withdrawals) on a monthly basis at the business unit level.
* Provide analytical insights into persistency performance and recommend management actions related to business quality, compensation, operational processes, and more.
* Coordinate cross-functional efforts to drive persistency-related actions. Prepare and compile materials for the monthly Persistency Steering Committee (SteerCo).
* Collaborate with other actuarial teams (e.g., EV, IFRS 17) to ensure persistency performance is accurately reflected in financial reporting and forecasting.

Prophet modelling enhancement (30%):
* Perform enhancements to the Prophet model, including updates to operating and economic assumptions, integration of model improvements, and incorporation of new products into the centralized Prophet framework.

Advanced actuarial solutions (20%)
* Participate in transformational projects aimed at improving actuarial processes through the use of advanced technologies such as Power BI, machine learning, and AI.
* Develop and maintain an inventory of data sources and tools used in actuarial modeling and data analytics. Collaborate with Team Heads and key actuarial stakeholders to define a roadmap and implement improvements to data and tools.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* bachelor's degree. Passed at least 2 actuarial exams.
* At least 1 year' experience in actuarial position, including internship/contract.
* Experience in data analytics tools (Power BI, R, Python)
* Basic knowledge of Prophet, able to navigate and read the coding
* Experience in persistency and compensation scheme is a plus
* English fluency is necessary for this position.
* Project management and presentation skills, team player, organized and punctual.
* This position has the potential to be deeply involved in actuarial business solutions (Persistency, compensation scheme, data analytics projects)
