Lead Resource Planning Specialist - Remote in Romania

What You Will Do:
You will lead resource planning activities to ensure effective allocation of resources across assigned functions and portfolios, supporting business objectives and project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading resource planning activities, including demand forecasting, capacity analysis, and resource allocation across assigned functions or portfolios.
* Partnering with project and functional leaders to understand resource requirements, capability needs, and delivery timelines.
* Monitoring utilisation, workload distribution, and resource capacity, identifying gaps and recommending solutions.
* Maintaining accurate resource plans, forecasts, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
* Supporting scenario planning and resource optimisation efforts in response to changing business priorities.
* Providing coaching, guidance, and mentorship to resource planning colleagues, promoting best practices and consistency.
* Building strong relationships with stakeholders to proactively address resourcing challenges and support successful project execution.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities across all levels of the organization.
* Significant experience in resource planning, workforce management, portfolio operations, or capacity planning within a global, matrixed organization; experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or professional services environment is preferred.
* Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders and managing competing priorities across global teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with large datasets and planning tools.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and resource planning/reporting systems.
* Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting colleagues within a resource planning function.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
* Commitment to fairness, transparency, and effective resource allocation practices.
