Job Description
Role Summary: This internship will support the COO for the Asia Pacific & Middle East region in driving operational excellence, strategic initiatives, and cross-regional projects. The intern will contribute to analysis, coordination, and execution of priorities impacting multiple markets and functions, focusing on enhancing efficiency, governance, and stakeholder alignment. A key focus will be supporting automation and AI initiatives, including their governance, documentation, and adoption. The intern will gain exposure to senior-level decision-making, regional operations, and transformation projects by working closely with the COO and regional leadership team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare for senior meetings, coordinate follow-ups, draft communications, and support awareness campaigns for automation/AI initiatives.
* Operational Duties: Manage regional operating rhythm, consolidate and analyze data, maintain tracking tools, provide day-to-day operational support, and track automation/AI use cases.
* Governance & Risk: Prepare materials for governance forums, track risks and controls, ensure policy compliance, and support governance standards for automation/AI.
* Improvement & Innovation: Research best practices, identify improvement opportunities, design tools/dashboards, contribute ideas for digitalization/AI, assess automation/AI opportunities, and document workflows.
Qualifications:
* Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data/Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
* Strong academic record and graduation date after the internship.
* Previous internship/project experience in consulting, financial services, corporate strategy, operations, technology, or similar analytical/coordination roles is a plus.
* Demonstrated interest in automation, data analytics, and/or AI is a plus.
* Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); French or Asian languages are a plus.
* Ability to work full-time during the summer internship.
Skills:
* Functional: Strong analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel), organized, detail-oriented, ability to document processes.
* Leadership/Behavioral: Proactive, self-motivated, strong interpersonal skills, resilient, adaptable, high integrity, curious about new technologies.
* Specific: Interest in Asia Pacific and Middle East markets, cross-cultural awareness. Basic familiarity with automation/AI concepts is a plus.
* Transformative: Basic understanding of project management, familiarity with data visualization/collaboration tools is a plus, curious about digital transformation, interest in learning governance/change management for AI/automation
