We are looking for a proactive and high-energy Business Development Intern to support our sales team in driving revenue for Croma's in-store advertising inventory. You will assist in identifying potential brand partners, preparing sales collateral, and ensuring the seamless execution of on-ground advertising campaigns.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone looking to build a career in Media Sales, Brand Partnerships, Advertising, or Retail Marketing.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Research:
* Conduct market research to identify brands (FMCG, Tech, Lifestyle, etc.) and agencies that would benefit from Croma's retail media space.
* Build and maintain a database of potential clients and key decision-makers.
* Assist in cold outreach and setting up introductory meetings for the senior sales team.
2. Sales Support & Pitching:
* Help customize sales decks and proposals based on specific brand requirements.
* Assist in creating "Mock-ups" or visual representations of how a brand's ads will look in-store.
* Attend client meetings and take detailed notes to assist in the follow-up process.
3. Campaign Operations & Audits:
* Coordinate with cross functional team to ensure that physical and digital ads are live as per the schedule.
* Create Proof of Performance (PoP) reports for clients.
4. Reporting & Coordination:
* Update the sales pipeline/CRM daily to track progress with various leads.
* Collaborate with the Dentsu and Croma teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
* Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/master's degree. Preferred in business, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be comfortable engaging with external stakeholders.
* Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint (for decks) and Excel (for data tracking).
* Attitude: A "go-getter" mindset with an interest in the advertising.
