What You'll Do
You will join BCG Italy's Marketing team in Milan supporting the firm's communications activities and its institutional relations agenda, gaining exposure to how BCG builds and strengthens its reputation across the business, media, and institutional landscape.
Working closely with experienced colleagues across Communications and Institutional Relations, you will contribute to content development, media activation, stakeholder relationship activities, and strategic visibility initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to develop a broad understanding of corporate communications, public affairs, and reputation-building within one of the world's leading management consulting firms.
You are good at:
* Assisting in media relations activities, including media monitoring and analysis, press coverage tracking, and the preparation and distribution of press releases;
* Supporting the development and execution of internal and external communications initiatives across multiple channels;
* Drafting, editing, and coordinating content for newsletters, social media, corporate communications, and other marketing materials;
* Supporting the coordination of communications campaigns, events, conferences, and visibility initiatives;
* Assisting with the execution of BCG's Institutional Relations agenda and stakeholder engagement activities;
* Helping build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the institutional, business, and academic landscape;
* Supporting the preparation of materials, research, and briefings for meetings, events, and strategic engagement initiatives;
* Monitoring relevant developments across the media, business, and institutional environment to identify opportunities and support informed decision-making;
* Collaborating with colleagues across functions and senior leaders to strengthen BCG's visibility, reputation, and external positioning;
* Managing multiple priorities with attention to detail, professionalism, and a service-oriented mindset.

What You'll Bring
* University degree or currently enrolled in a degree program in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Political Science, International Relations, Public Affairs, or a related field);
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in Italian and English;
* Good command of MS Office applications - familiarity with social media platforms and content management tools is a plus;
* Strong interest and curiosity toward corporate communications, media relations, public affairs, and institutional engagement in business-oriented environments;
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with different stakeholders;
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
* Proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment;
* Professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
Additional info
This opportunity is offered as a 6-month internship designed to provide hands-on experience and professional development within BCG. As this is an internship position, participants will receive a monthly allowance, in accordance with the internship agreement. Interns will also benefit from:
