Principal responsibilities you'll be entrusted with include but are not limited to:
* Working closely with sales traders to support clients, assist with client requests, conduct day-to-day activities which facilitate client trading
* Allocate client trades to the proper accounts
* Conduct research and obtain market data through Bloomberg, Trading systems, and internal databases
* Maintain the group's online, client-facing, web portal
* Design and implement front-office solutions to optimize trading operations
* Assist in multiple marketplace modeling and ad-hoc quantitative research
* Coordinate with various groups (middle office, back office, technology, clients) in resolving technical and settlement issues in trading operations
* Contribute towards the development of marketplace modeling and ad-hoc quantitative research

Job Requirements
* Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program
* Have a combination of strong financial/analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and be adept at financial modeling and valuation
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong communication skills are mandatory as the job requires you to speak directly with clients
* Ability to communicate and work effectively with others (both with internal and external stakeholders)
* Highly-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a proactive manner
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail is a MUST
* Experience with Python, SQL, VBA and Bloomberg is a plus (requirement of these skills vary by desks)
