We are looking for confident Coop Business Analyst who has an interest in understanding how organizations function, perform and change, with an eagerness to grow your skills in gathering and analyzing data, analyzing and solving complex business problems, writing and presenting. Grounded in business, you have a willingness to learn technology - able to assess a client's current technical environment and develop technology requirements and conceptual solutions to meet business objectives. You are looking to gain confidence working with all levels of client organizations - from the executive suite to the front line.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Liaison between information technology teams and business teams
Identify, validate, and prioritize clients' business needs and requirements
Participate in workshops/JAD sessions to identify business needs and requirements
Document current business processes, business flows, rules and artifacts, and propose business processes, business flows, rules and artifacts
Produce detailed requirements documents and requirements traceability matrices
Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency
Develop strategies for improving and demonstrating systems
Ensure new software integration meets functional requirements, systems compliance and interface specifications
Create and implement through test strategies and plans
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to develop clear, structured documentation, present findings and recommendations across business and technical audiences
Experience documenting business rules, data models, business cases and business case summaries
Experience business process modeling
Post-secondary education in relevant discipline
