We are continuinggrow and are looking to add someone to our team who wants to gain a 360-degree perspective of three of our hotel's departments.
During your internship with us, you will gain experience across three different areas by supporting the PBX (Switchboard), Guest Experience, and Front Desk teams.
Your general responsibilities will include the following:
* Participating in guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring registration information is accurately maintained in Opera.
* Serving as a source of infotion for guests on various topics, such as city activities, restaurant recommendations, and transportation options. This requires staying up-to-date with the latest leisure and cultural trends in Madrid.
* Fulfilling guest requests by providing proactive, unique, and personalized solutions.
* Handling inquiries received via phone and/or email regarding stays, reservations, or requests from external partners wishing to contact specific hotel departments.
* Last but not least, demonstrating empathy and initiative in addressing guest needs

What do we need from you?
* The internship is full-time, so it is essential that we can sign a collaboration agreement with your school or educational institution. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications that do not meet this requirement.
* The schedule involves morning or afternoon shifts, rotating from Monday to Sunday, with two days off. The estimated duration is 6 months.
* Our typical guests are international, so an advanced level of English is essential (this will be assessed during the interview). International experience (such as Erasmus) is a plus.
* We value teamwork skills and a willingness to learn. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to handling unexpected situations are also highly valued.
* Last but not least, we are looking for someone enthusiastic who loves travel and our industry. That is the only way to be the perfect Thompson ambassador.
