Position Overview
We are seeking a polished, service-driven Front Office & Guest Relations Intern to join our luxury hotel team. This role offers hands-on experience in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting daily front office operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, attentive to detail, and committed to upholding the highest standards of personalized service.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Relations
* Provide a warm, gracious welcome and personalized service throughout the guest journey
* Anticipate guest needs and proactively address requests, preferences, and concerns
* Assist with VIP arrivals, special occasions, and guest recognition initiatives
* Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution
Front Office Operations
* Support check-in and check-out procedures with efficiency and attention to detail
* Maintain accuracy in reservations, guest profiles, and room assignments
* Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
* Ensure front desk and lobby areas reflect the hotel's luxury standards at all times
Concierge & Service Coordination
* Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
* Assist with reservations for dining, transportation, and activities
* Coordinate special guest requests and ensure follow-through
Administrative Support
* Assist with daily reports, guest correspondence, and record-keeping
* Support service quality audits and guest satisfaction tracking
* Participate in team briefings and operational meetings
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality Management or related field
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with luxury hospitality standards
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
* Ability to remain calm and courteous in fast-paced environments
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
