Internship at Bosch Japan! You will join the Controlling Process Excellence (CPE) team and work on real data and automation projects. The work is about connecting systems, making data usable, and getting things done in an agile manner.
This is a hands-on, impact driven role. Working closely with the team lead across all initiatives, you will take ownership of defined workstreams while collaborating on the higher picture - delivering solutions that are actually used by the business.
Your Tasks will include:
* Connect and unify data across systems - bridging SAP exports, Excel, and Power BI into integrated, reliable reporting pipelines
* Build and update Power BI dashboards - designing dashboards that the business actually uses
* Create efficiency through automation - identifying repetitive workflows and building smarter solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools
* Support the team's digital agenda - contributing to AI-assisted use cases such as summarization, translation, and structured data collection

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a degree program in Data Science, IT, Business Informatics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
* Practical hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, basic DAX, dashboard building) and Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, logical formulas)
* A strong problem-solving mindset: proactive, curious, and comfortable figuring things out independently
* Interest in automation and in understanding how systems and data sources connect
* Good communication skills; reliable and able to work independently
* Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Power Automate, Python, SQL, and/or APIs
* Experience in data cleaning, structuring, and documentation (e.g., user guides)
* Basic exposure to SAP data (user-level knowledge is sufficient)
* Previous experience working in an international environment
Language Skills
* Fluent English (required)
* Basic to intermediate Japanese is a plus, but not mandatory
