The Land and Property Consents and Interface Manager ensure the programme secures the land and rights needed to deliver long-term development and meet strategic objectives. Acting as the central link between Consents and Land and Property teams, the role translates complex statutory and legal requirements into clear scopes, ensuring DCO obligations and programme milestones are consistently met.
It provides governance across multiple disciplines, manages suppliers, controls change, and mitigates risk to support high-quality evidence, statutory approvals and programme readiness. Ultimately, the role integrates land and property requirements seamlessly into the wider programme, enabling effective planning and successful commercial and operational outcomes.
You'll be responsible for:
* Acting as the key interface between consents and land and property teams.
* Translating statutory and programme requirements into clear supplier scopes.
* Managing supplier performance, governance, and contractual obligations.
* Managing day-to-day commercial oversight and risk escalation.
* Coordinating interdependencies across programme workstreams.
* Managing change control for all L&P-related scope.
* Supporting statutory evidence, submissions, and assurance activities.
* Maintaining clear reporting, promoting collaboration and high-quality delivery.
You'll need to have:
* Knowledge of statutory consents and planning processes, ideally including development consent orders (DCOs) or similar nationally significant infrastructure regimes.
* Proven supplier and contract management capability with effective change control.
* Skilled at translating complex legal and programme requirements into clear, actionable scopes.
* Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary environments.
