We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse operative to join a dynamic and busy team. This role is for taking the responsibility to complete the basic operational approved logistics processing on schedule (Goods Receipt / Warehouse / Transport / Dispatch).
Safeguards the flow of information and materials in conjunction with the customer and external supply centers, with the aim of 100 % customer supply, by explicit orientation to customer requirements and cost-effective use of resources and cost-optimized processes.
Dispatches customer orders/primary requirements and where necessary creates or adjusts production orders or production-synchronous call-off orders [to production] to ensure 100% supply to customers, taking due account of production resources and processes, and to safeguard on-time delivery of the customer order.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
* Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity)
* Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required
* Takes care for correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.)
* Captures relevant data in data processing systems
* Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems
* Organizes a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area
* Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes)
* Completes packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework
* Adds the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods
* Completes transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation

What you need to make a difference

* Hand on experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment in a similar role with good working knowledge of SAP is preferred
* Experience of providing excellent customer service to internal and external colleagues is beneficial
* Good working knowledge of health and safety standards
* Forklift truck license both reach and counterbalance experience is required
* A strong communicator willing to undertake assignments and work Individually
* Good decision making and attention to detail
* Flexibility and commitment to deliver to a high standard
