Job Title: Business Process Expert
Location: Aspect House, Blantyre (Hybrid)
Salary: From £47,200 per annum, up to 10% bonus, private medical insurance + other excellent benefits

ScottishPower Customer Business is hiring a Business Process Expert to join their Centre of Excellence department within the UK Operation. Reporting to the Change Management Manager, this role will serve as the key point of contact for Contract Management while also taking responsibility for overseeing and optimising processes across both the change management and contract management functions.

What you'll be doing
You'll play a key role in providing expert guidance on contract frameworks, policies, and standards, enabling improved performance, compliance, and efficiency across all contract-related activities.

The role also contributes to the evolution of the Centre of Excellence by embedding standardised processes, leveraging insights and data to inform decision-making, and strengthening organisational capability in contract and supplier management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Establish and maintain contract management frameworks, policies, and standards to drive consistency across the organisation. Ensuring compliance with internal governance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
* Lead the end-to-end management of contracts drafting of service description and service level, negotiation, execution, performance monitoring, and renewal/termination.
* Ensure contracts are structured to optimise commercial outcomes and minimise risk and drive value through effective negotiation, cost control, and performance management.
* Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., procurement, legal, finance, operations) to provide expert contract guidance and support business objectives.
* Track contract performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, providing reporting and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Oversee and coordinate processes within the Centre of Excellence to ensure governance controls, and operational requirements are fully in place prior to implementation.
