I understood italians have many more problems with english than students coming from other countries. They all were speaking english very well and often english was their only language of instruction. But I had no problems in communication or comprehension

English is a good way to come around. Nearly everybody is able to speak English. During my stay I had only once or twice a problem not to get what I wanted to have.

Most people in Cph speak english. If you leave the city, you will find people who don't speak any english. Learn German, most Danes also speak that.

Since English was the language of instruction and all of the other exchange students chose to use it as their language of communication as well, Danish was somewhat in the background and it was up to you to make the best out of it.

Finally you have to learn English you actually need by interacting with students. And you learn academic English in courses. Excellent experience!!
