Though Tufts University nominally grants credit for any course offered through the Karls Eberhard University (provided the student meets certain expecations - i.e. attends class, participates, and either writes a term paper or undergoes oral examination), one can run into problems if taking a class with a German Professor unfamiliar with the Tufts program. Try and take classes recommended by the Director of Tufts in Tuebingen.

There is a fantastic range of courses for international students. These are great as they offer everything and the teachers are so friendly and helpful here as they understand what you are going through

Maybe a little more help with choosing course outside the international office

If you have to write a Hausarbeit, try to get it started at least, before the semester is over. If you wait and do it once you've returned to your home country, it's really hard to make yourself complete it and turn it in.

The courses for local students are hard and demanding but the courses for internationals are really worth doing. A language course is definitely helpful.

try to take some courses outside of the international student courses, they were more challenging and i had the chance to interact with german students

this university is famous for political science and international relations courses - must say they are really informative and interesting.
