the food here are in general cheaper than in holland, also the rent. moreover, as a student in berlin, we have semester ticket, which allow us to use all public transportation for free 24 hrs

buy a student MONATSKARTE. it is a ticket which lets you travel on the tram, s-bahn, u-bahn and bus for one month. Saves money in the long term, as opposed to purchasing a ticket every day
