I learned a lot, could talk pretty well French, but only after my second exchange programme to a French University I became a fluent speaker.

I had no problems in communicating. By the way: there are many students who do not speak a word of french, so within HEC most international students communicate in english. This was a bit annoying for me because I wanted to improve my french and not my english.

In Liege the native language is French. My courses however were all in English. The only troubles are in getting something done with the administration office and communicating with some of the Belgian students.
