The best nightspots are the squares Leidseplein and Rembrandplein. The best concert venue is definitely The Melkweg (Leidseplein). The best club is 11 (Electronic music), situated next to Central Station.

Final comments
It is advised to travel as much as possible: Munich (October Fest), Brussels, Paris, London, Berlin, Luxembourg... Amsterdam is pretty much accessible to all countries in Europe.

It is difficult to learn Dutch because Dutch people all know English pretty well. Concerning English, living with Americans, Brits and Canadians helped me improve my general level.

Personal spending habits
The level of life is higher in The Netherlands than in France, especially concerning housing. Moreover, I spent more money than at home because I knew I was not gonna live twice in Amsterdam.
