Housing
Type of housing: A room exchange
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Since I just rented a room in a appartment, if I were to go back I would want my own appartment. I did have full run of the appartment, but I think it would be better to have my own place.

My level after: At ease in most situations

Personal comments
It was hard to meet germans at first, but as soon as you became friends with them it was easier to pick up more vocab and slang. Hanging around with Americans too much will hurt your german.

Make sure you are social, that is the real way to learn the culture and the language. Television and radio helped me a lot with idoms and slang, its good to have one of each.
