For Erasmus students there is obviously one place not to be missed, the studenterhuset on wednesdays.Just next to the clock tower it the place where most of foreigners get together for some party. Apart from that there are always many parties going on during the week: on Thursdays Copenhagen Business School, on Fridays Political Science or Sociology parties, the friday bar at the institute of economics, the weekend parties at the edgmont students residence, on sundays and tuesdays the reggae concerts at the . Many clubs to go out on weekends but I would definitely recommend Vega,Rust,Copenhagen Jazz House and Luxx.Don't miss a visit to Christiania. All in all, always plenty of things to do, many places to, many concerts, the only that lacks is time!

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
In my opinion, it is easier to meet other students that are in the same situation as you are if you live close to them. The area where I was living was somehow outside the main students area.

The university provides an housing offer to every Erasmus student and that makes the task of arranging a place to stay much easier. In fact, the housing situation in Copenhagen is very complicated because there is a shortage of accomodation for foreign students an the prices are quite high.

I would suggest a bit more connection between local and international students in order to make it easier for those who arrive to adapt to the new University.

I wish I had known...
Available flats to rent. For students they are quite rare and expensive.

Try to improve the links between the local and the international students. That proves to be very important for those who just arrive.

I should had tried to take some danish classes. that is the thing I regret the most of my period of studies in Copenhagen. I just learnt some basic sentences with the locals. Regarding English, it was obviously a chance to improve it as the Danes are quite proficient in speaking it.
