The prices for housing are higher than back home in Graz, and I had a worse room in a worse area for more money than back home in Austria.
When going to clubs in England, you usually have to pay to get in. Drinks can often be cheap, on student nights especially. However, mind how you get back home. I usually took a cab to get back, Manchester's not safe, so I preferred spending money for cabs rather than being attacked on the streets..

Lidl, aldi and Primark :)
The town offers a lot of student discounts here at restaurants and shops, so remember your student ID!
Didn't expected that rent at student hall would be so expensive than private flat. Public tranportation is relative cheap here.

England is an expensive country to live for a spanish person. However, if you have the chance to work a little bit, it is possible to afford it.

As easy as it is, everything in England is just a lot more expensive than in Germany, especially if it comes to cigarettes and alcohol.
