Food and housing is much more expensive than they're in China. I don't use a telephone in Holland, thus, I don't spend money on it. I like travelling, so I spend more or less same money on my hobbies. Nightlife is also same because I don't go so often.

Usually, I brought my necessaries from cheapest supermarket, like AlDI, LIDL, so on. Also, if possible, to do some part-time job is a way to earn some money. Besides, I'm negotiating with my Dutch friends, because I hope we can run a company together and do business internationally.

Visa card was not accepted anywhere. (only pincard or mastercard). There was a 4% comission each time I took money from my spanish account in a cash machine. There are also problems if you try to open an account in a local bank for less than one year.

In the bank they don't allow you to open an account if you are less than 6 months....so...the commisions at home are important.
