Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
For an international student, it's very convenient to live on campus. Everything is within a walking distance. All you need is on campus: dining service, athletic center and secure ans good atmosphere.

Personal comments
I lived in an apartment on campus with 3 other international students. I shared my room with one of them. I liked this international atmosphere but i was lucky to have easygoing roommates. However, it would have been even better to have at least one American roommate.

As for me, evertime I would withdraw money from an ATM it costed me 4$! I payed mostly w/ creditcard. Flagstaff has a lot of REALLY GOOD good will (2nd hand) stores! Go there for pots & pans and china and clothes and etc!!! And go to Target!!! Very good and pretty cheap. Buy a bike at Wal MArts for 50 bucks!

Go there when you're 21! Also, Flagstaff is a small town so don't expect to have something interesting to do every day. But it's a good university with great facilities and the location is pretty good. Sunshine almost everyday! The area is gorgeous!

The dorms on campus are very nice. Even though the dorm where I live is in the far south, I couldn't ask for more, because it is one of the only dorms, where you have your own bedroom.
