A great experience. Get "Footprint Chile" travel guide before going there. Get to know the whole country, from south to north. You will love the country and its people.

As the terms run from August-December, then March-June, make sure you make the most of that huge December-March summer holiday and travel all you can. Sports clubs are a great way of making local friends.
