Final comments
Be prepared to spend a lot of time & energy in getting fully settled: looking for a nice (& payable!) room, getting all the administrative papers right, choosing your courses, etc. The sooner you get this settled, the better!

I study German, so it's only normal I had no problems with the language. However, I have to add that I also spoke a lot of English (many native english speaking students & students who speak English better than German).
