I chose Finland to improve my English. I never had problems with English, but I wanted to integrate English in my studies of my home country, because it's really important to speak English fluently if you want to contacts to people all over the world and also for the future working situation as English is dominating the business activities. From talking what is really necessary I learned to talk a lot in every situation of life with various people from all over the world. There are students from all over the world and you talk to them as if they were your best friends from home! It was really great! If you experienced it, you know what I mean!

My accomodation was Uni-Hostel in the student village. It had central position to a small food store, to a pub and to 2 universities of Turku. The room was well furnitured and really clean. The kitchen was shared by 12 students, but it was cleaned every day. Everything was available: Television, iron board, cleaning facilities, coffe maker, microwave, oven, dish washer... The people living on this floor were also really nice and I enjoyed living there!

Personal spending habits
Food is more expensive here and it is more difficult to find some food as well; i ´ve spent a lot travelling because it is a great chance to do it here. In fact, if a want to travel like this from my country it would be much more expensive in the long-term, so, for me this is a save, because travelling is one of my priorities. That´s why i try to expend less in telephone and so on, but this country is in general more expensive than mine, so sometimes it is quite hard.

The housing was pretty good, clean, with nice people on the offices of this student village. We were many international sudents and we exchange our culture to eachother. The housing office proposed us flexible solutions about rents, bills and other administratives staff. The kitchens were wezel equiped nd we missed almost nothing in order to spend a nice seetling there.
