Demanding studies but worth the effort
Miguel D
Spain, Graduate
Engineering, 2021
Overall
In general, teachers are good and nice with the students. In my opinion, the courses are usually interesting, so for me, you don't need to do much effort to follow the classes.
However, I needed to spent much time studying to asimilate what you learn.
The campus is ok and close to the sea. The city is beautiful, maybe a bit boring but ok.

Pros
Classmates, teachers, city (beautiful), libraries, administration.
Cons
Not easy to do internships, city (a bit boring), not many social events at university.

Management is an ok course to study and it is easy to pass, university life doesn't really exist and the students aren't very sociable.

If I was to do it all again I would perhaps go somewhere further south as the people in the north are quite cold and it was difficult gettin to know spanish people. Get to know as many people as you can and don't fall into the trap of speaking your native language.

I wish I had known...
I wish I had know how easy it was to make friends. I would have stuck my neck out there a lot more, especially at youth hostels, because everyone there is more or less like-minded in that they are travelers looking for good company.

Don't worry about money. You can always pay it off later. You can't always travel later though.

I wish I had known...
Little details, like they don´t expect you to possibly select a class schedule where nothing overlaps. If I would have known that I would have taken more of the classes I wanted first semester and not worried so much about it.
