See above. The Spadolini residence, which is open to graduate students is a good 10 minute walk through a deserted part of town and a park. Ovrenight guests are not allowed, suites of rooms have no decent common area and there are no freezers in the kitchens. On the plus side, the balconies are nice.

It is easier, and you have the opportunity to meet many Italians and other exchange students. Renting an appartment in Milan is more difficult but it is true that you are more independant.

It would be easy to commute, but since it is a city University On campus hostels cannot be expected.

The houseing arrangements are good by the Person at the Univertsity. She has a list of houses or appartments that are to be rented. She gives a whole range of options until you are satisfied.

Because you have the chance of sharing experiences, habits and cultural backgrpunds with other people. It´s easier to find. Not so expensive.

I know Bocconi housing goes from normal to luxury. It can be very expensive for the services offered. The good point is proximity with university.

It was quite OK. I had to share room with another student, but that was never a problem. The location was perfect - just a 15 minutes walk to the city centre and 10 minutes to the university.

The campus accommodation is also very nice, although it CAN be costly, and many of the facilities are shared. Living in Milan is expensive compared to all other parts of Italy.
