telephone, because i phoned in France to my parents and friends and for administrative thinks. accomodation because I didi a job of babay sitter so in exchange of few hours of work I had my bedroom paid. nightlife because there were a lot of free things done for students.

Why spent more because the cost of life was more expensive in Milan compared to Lisbon and, also because the milan lifestyle forces international students to spent more if they wish to participate in the social activities that dominate the city.

Cost-saving tips: go to international events'nights or "aperitivi" to save money in meals and nightlife. Get the "tessera blu" at the "CUS" in the several Milan universities in order to get discounts in sports' activities.
